I'm Scared

I’m scared of a lot of things.
No, I’m not talking about spiders, bears, white vans and open water.
I’m talking about my future.
I’m scared to grow up and leave friends behind.
I’m scared to trust new people.
I’m scared to make mistakes.
I wish I wasn’t scared to push past my limits.
I wish I wasn’t scared to succed or fail.
I wish I wasn’t scared of myself.
